From the database homepage, scroll down to the online courses & tools section and select the “Prep for Vocational Tests” option.
Next, select the "Cosmetology" category.
Most ECC classes are using the "Cosmetology - General Online Course."
Creating a personal account allows you to save your work in the test prep module as you go along, which will be important for your class assignments. The username and password you select is up to you.
If you forget your password, click on the “reset your password” link below the login screen.
NOTE: The personal account you create is separate from your standard ECC login and will only work for this particular database.
From the Milady Cosmetology module, click on “Tests” from the top menu to open up the online licensing preparation tests to learn and practice for the state board exam.
You have the option of taking “Chapter Review” tests to help you better learn the content; “Chapter Tests” to assess your knowledge; or a “Comprehensive Test,” which is similar to the overall state board test. Each can be attempted as many times as you want.
NOTE: As you have created a personal account, all of your work will be saved and available when you login again.
To access an overall report of your chapter test scores, click on “Reports” from the Milady top menu.
