PrepSTEP for Colleges

PrepStep is a learning platform that builds academic success and preparation for today's workplace.

Create a Personal Account in PrepStep

If you have not used PrepSTEP for Colleges before, you will need to register a personal account.

Creating an account allows you to do the following and saves your progress along the way:

  • Take and revisit practice tests 
  • Save your work-in-progress
  • Store score reports
  • Take tutorials
  • Access eBooks

You may choose your own email & password.

Following these steps to sign into your personal account or register a new account:

 

1. Click on "Sign In/Register," located on the top toolbar of PrepSTEP or enter your personal login information

2. Click on the Register button, located on the right-hand side under "New User?"

Click on the "Sign In/Register" link located in the top toolbar of the PrepStep platform. Either sign into the fields or register a new personal account.

 

 

3. Fill out the required fields. Please note, the institution name should say "El Camino College." You are not required to fill out Student ID # or Course Section #.

The new user registration page includes a number of required fields to complete. Once finished, click the "Register" button at the bottom of the page.

4. Click Register. You should now have an account!
