El Camino College is now offering Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) degree pathways! This means that students have the opportunity to earn a degree or certificate in one of the following programs without the need to purchase textbooks.
Faculty have reported a variety of instructional materials used to eliminate costs to students including the adoption of Open Educational Resources (OER) in full or part, the development of original course content, utilizing library acquired collections and those openly accessible online.
Find ZTC class sections using ECC's online Schedule of Classes, select the "Zero-Textbook Cost" course type from the results filter or look for the ZTC icon listed next to the class section.
